Incremental Growth: Resilience To Go The Distance

Transformation and innovation aren’t always dramatic, from one moment to the next. They are often the result of being in the process, of discipline and consistency.

Sometimes we may not feel or see the change or the growth.

But keep at it.

I have this succulent that Big Flo (my mom) gave me for my birthday.

I water it every other day with a gentle spray bottle.

From day to day, I don’t see a change.

I questioned whether this plant was growing

But I kept watering it.

One day, when Big Flo came to visit, she noticed the change.

Day to day, I didn’t see it.

But the plant is growing.

Knowing this, staying in the process with discipline and consistency can be hard, especially when we don’t see a significant change. And seeing even a little bit of change maybe other encouragement. But what if it takes a while to see?
